Convention about the cooperation between the International Parliament for Safety and Peace and the United Nations Peace University

The International Parliament for Safety and Peace, which is an organization incorporated in the USA and judicial person in Brazil with seat in Sicily and called International Parliament afterwards, is represented by His Beatitude Archbishop Monsignore Viktor Busa, President for Life, and the United Nations Peace University with seat in Costa Rica, represented by his Excellency Senator Professor Dr. Rodrigo Carazo Odio, President (of her), in the following called the university, agree:

 

  1. The International Parliament and the University agree on the general principles and their constitutional instruments by establishing the present convention for cooperation with the objective to allow the organizations to make commune activities which will be complimentary contributions to their propositions and goals.

 

  1. The International Parliament and the University exchange information consisting of and participating in their activities and programmes.

 

  1. The University contributes to inform the whole world about the programmes and activities of the International Parliament.

 

  1. Both Institutions consider the possibility to initiate programmes that conjure specializations and themes like peace, disarmament, security of the nations and human rights.

 

  1. The University can nominate one new judge at the Supreme Court of Justice for the Protection of Life which is annexed to the International Parliament for safeguarding the rights of the people.

 

  1. The International Parliament and the University facilitate their inventory for the organization of activities tending to promote peace in the world.

 

  1. The University supports a programme for the constitution of a LEAGUE OF MEDITERRANEAN NATIONS to guarantee safety and peace in all of the Mediterranean.

 

 

Given before and approved in Palermo (Sicily) and Escazu (Costa Rica) the 24th of January 1987 in two originals.
